About the Role:

This is a remote position for an Azure Data Cloud Architect. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based data solutions on the Azure platform. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Azure data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar services.
  • Optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure data services and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer or Cloud Architect.
  • Strong understanding of Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Scala.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
