Job Description:

We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer with 8 years of industry experience, including significant expertise in cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess very strong hands-on experience in Azure Databricks development, coupled with a solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts. This role requires proficiency in Azure Databricks development and PySpark SQL development skills, as well as experience in cloud-based development and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark SQL.
  • Implement data warehousing solutions and apply data modeling techniques.
  • Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions on Azure.
  • Integrate various data sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Work effectively in an offshore-onshore model and adhere to Agile methodology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices and standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8 years of industry experience in data engineering.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Bricks development.
  • Proficiency in PySpark SQL development.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Solid experience with Data Modeling techniques.
  • Experience in cloud-based development and integration, specifically on Azure.
  • Experience working in an offshore-onshore model.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year
