Job Description: Azure Data Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks, ETL/ELT processes, and strong SQL fundamentals. This is an onsite role requiring local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure data services.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ensure efficient data processing.
- Work with Databricks for advanced data analytics and processing.
- Implement and manage data warehousing solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across all data systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Utilize strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Astronomer.
- Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Proficiency in Databricks.
- Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
- Experience with ETL/ELT workflows.
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Astronomer).
- Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience.
