About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Azure DevOps Cloud Engineers with FinOps expertise to support cloud operations, cost optimization, and infrastructure automation within the Azure environment. This role is crucial for modernizing deployment practices, reducing manual efforts, and ensuring efficient cloud resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FinOps & Cost Optimization:
    • Continuously monitor Azure resource utilization and billing data.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities (e.g., right-sizing, orphaned resource cleanup, reservation management).
    • Enforce governance and budget policies.
    • Provide cost breakdowns by resource/tag to highlight optimization opportunities.
  • Engineering & Automation (DevOps):
    • Modernize deployment practices and reduce manual operational efforts.
    • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Bicep.
    • Integrate IaC into CI/CD pipelines for standardized deployments.
    • Improve system resiliency and performance in collaboration with application and product teams.
  • Architecture & Environment Optimization:
    • Conduct Azure Well-Architected Reviews.
    • Analyze and support migration initiatives (e.g., Citrix to Azure Virtual Desktop – AVD).
    • Evaluate workload placement strategies, including potential migration of non-production workloads to on-premises environments when cost-effective.
  • Operations & Support:
    • Provide administrative support for Azure accounts.
    • Handle incident troubleshooting and resolution.
    • Ensure security and compliance policy enforcement.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Proficiency in FinOps principles and cost optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Dania Beach, FL
