Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with Project Management experience for a hybrid contract role in Waukegan, IL. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning and execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of cloud services. This role requires a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Atlassian tools, and project management principles. The candidate is expected to be in the office 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with development, support, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
- Optimize workflows and processes related to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to address deviations from the plan.
- Ensure the seamless integration of new software versions/releases using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Maintain and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) pipeline artifacts and repositories.
- Utilize SonarQube for continuous inspection of code quality and integration into CI/CD processes.
- Provide technical support to teams and clients, addressing system and software-related issues.
- Troubleshoot deployment-related issues and optimize deployment processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for operational procedures, system configurations, and best practices using Confluence.
- Manage project timelines, scope, and budgets for tool-related initiatives.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges and ensure project success.
- Ensure that Service Transition processes are fully executed and serve as an escalation point for any delays.
- Fulfill Audit Service Requests and coordinate with the internal compliance team for audit-driven requests.
- Govern the application Service Lifecycle (SLC) process to ensure it occurs as scheduled and provide audit results as needed.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Knowledge Articles.
- Perform daily reviews of ticket activity and ensure regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA) in all tool processes and deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub
- Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) administration
- In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid project management and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SLC (Service Lifecycle) processes, preferably SLC IT09.
- Proficiency in GitHub, particularly in CI/CD pipeline development and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of technical documentation creation.
- Familiarity with GxP and FDA regulatory compliance.
- Preferred experience in HC/LS background.

- Must possess a Local DL (IL) and valid visa status (H1B/H4/L2).
Special Requirements

Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $70 per year (Estimated)
