Role: AZURE SQL DBA

We are seeking an experienced AZURE SQL DBA to join our team for a long-term contract role in Bentonville, AR. This is an onsite position requiring local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments.
  • Monitor database performance using Azure Monitor, Query Store, and other monitoring tools.
  • Implement Azure security best practices including RBAC, encryption, auditing, and firewall configurations.
  • Manage backups, geo-replication, failover strategies, and long-term data retention.
  • Provide production support, database monitoring, and incident management.
  • Perform backup, restore, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning.
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and workload optimization.
  • Support database deployments, schema changes, and data migrations.
  • Participate in change management and CAB processes while documenting RCA, SOPs, and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
  • Expertise in database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Query Store, and database performance tools.
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery (RTO/RPO), and failover strategies.
  • Experience with security, RBAC, encryption, and auditing in Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with incident management, production support, and enterprise database operations.

Additional Information:

This role is with our implementation partner, TCS. The rate is $55/hr C2C, including VMS charges of 4.8%. Candidates local to Arkansas are preferred for closure.

Need Local to Arkansas for Clouser. Rate – $55/hr C2C (Including VMS Charges 4.8%)

Compensation & Location

Salary: $55 – $60 per year
