Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Java Developer with 9-15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading the design and implementation of scalable microservices architecture, developing RESTful web services, and mentoring junior developers. The position requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and Oracle/PL/SQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices architecture to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of RESTful web services to facilitate seamless communication between applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the integration of Kafka for efficient data streaming and real-time processing within the application ecosystem.
  • Utilize Oracle and PL/SQL for database management, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Implement Spring Boot and Spring Core frameworks to streamline application development and enhance modularity.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 9-15 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong expertise in Core Java.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Core frameworks.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture.
  • Experience developing RESTful web services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Kafka for data streaming and real-time processing.
  • Expertise in Oracle and PL/SQL for database management.
  • Experience in Cards and Payments, and Asset and Wealth Management domains is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
