Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Platform Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the enterprise Business Intelligence ecosystem. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance BI platforms that integrate data from multiple sources and support advanced analytics and self-service reporting across the organization. The architect will work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the BI platform aligns with the organization’s data strategy and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise BI architecture ensuring scalability and performance.
- Define standards and best practices for BI development, data modeling, and visualization.
- Lead selection, configuration, and integration of BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and TIBCO Spotfire.
- Oversee data flow architecture across data lakes, warehouses, and visualization layers.
- Work with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and data models.
- Establish security, access control, and governance frameworks for BI environments.
- Lead BI modernization initiatives, including migration to cloud-based BI platforms.
- Implement automation, monitoring, and performance optimization across the BI ecosystem.
- Mentor BI developers and analysts on architecture standards and reusable frameworks.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to define BI strategy and roadmap.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics Architecture.
- Strong experience in BI architecture and data integration design.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Spotfire.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Expertise in data modeling (star and snowflake schemas).
- Experience with ETL/ELT design and data pipeline architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Databricks.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and BI security practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
