About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Blue Yonder TMS Configuration Specialist to join our team. This role involves hands-on configuration of Blue Yonder TMS SaaS components and business rules to support our transportation management operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation and logistics business processes and experience with SaaS configuration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Blue Yonder TMS foundation components and business rules.
- Support shipment planning, optimization, carrier tendering, execution workflows, freight costing, rating, and settlement.
- Configure for multi-modal transportation (road, air, ocean, courier).
- Utilize SaaS configuration frameworks without custom code.
- Validate integrations using APIs, EDI, and files.
- Track requirements, defects, and changes using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Ensure accurate and scalable TMS configurations aligned with business requirements.
- Support smooth testing cycles with minimal configuration defects.
- Contribute to on-time readiness for go-live and stable post-production performance.
- Participate in continuous optimization of transportation execution and cost outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Transportation Management Systems, with 3+ years of hands-on Blue Yonder TMS SaaS configuration experience.
- Hands-on experience configuring Blue Yonder TMS foundation components and business rules.
- Strong understanding of shipment planning, optimization, carrier tendering, execution workflows, freight costing, rating, and settlement.
- Experience with multi-modal transportation (road, air, ocean, courier).
- Strong understanding of transportation and logistics business processes.
- Experience with SaaS configuration frameworks (no custom code).
- Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, EDI, files) and data validation.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for requirement, defect, and change tracking.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and disciplined.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting global or high-volume transportation networks.
- Semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or complex supply-chain domain experience.
- Exposure to Agile / SAFe delivery models.
- Experience with carrier onboarding and transportation compliance processes.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
