Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BTP Integration Architect to join our team for Project IVC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its integration capabilities, with a strong focus on designing and implementing robust integration solutions.
Essential Skills:
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) – Integration Suite
- API Management
- Event Mesh (event driven integrations)
- Cloud Integration (CPI)
Desirable Skills:
- Open Connectors (where applicable)
Experience Required:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP BTP and Integration Technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Develop and implement integrations with SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud) and non-SAP platforms.
- Design API-led architectures, event-driven and asynchronous integrations, and synchronous and batch integrations.
- Utilize OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC protocols.
- Define canonical data models and transformation strategies.
- Implement robust error handling, retry, idempotency, and resilience patterns.
- Define reusable integration patterns, templates, and accelerators.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to integration development teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.
SAP BTP Architecture Concepts:
- Global vs regional accounts, sub-accounts, entitlements
- Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma runtime
- Destinations, Connectivity Service, Cloud Connector
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
