Position Summary
TekDelite LLC is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Level 5) for a critical project based in Lansing, Michigan. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with over 13 years of experience in the field, capable of navigating complex technical landscapes and delivering human-centric design solutions. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence in Lansing every Tuesday and Wednesday. We are looking for a ‘true’ Business Analyst who can act as a strategic partner to both our technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that every project aligns with our overarching organizational goals. The candidate must be adept at breaking down complex requirements into actionable tasks while considering technical constraints and legacy system limitations.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements from diverse stakeholders.
- Translate high-level business needs into detailed technical specifications for application and solution architects.
- Review technical designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established quality and responsive design standards.
- Identify gaps in existing systems and design innovative solutions, whether through custom builds, third-party integrations, or legacy enhancements.
- Bridge the communication gap between technical staff (developers, testers) and non-technical business owners and executives.
- Manage the full SDLC process within Agile and Hybrid environments, creating actionable user stories and managing backlogs.
- Analyze raw data to extract meaningful insights that drive informed decision-making at the project and leadership levels.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts, sharing best practices and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
- Assess the feasibility of modernizing legacy systems versus building new cloud-native applications based on business context.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12-13+ years of experience as a dedicated Business Analyst in large-scale enterprise environments.
- 8+ years of experience specifically in eliciting requirements and translating them into detailed technical design documents.
- Expertise in responsive design application development and human-centric design solutions.
- Proficiency in process modeling tools for creating flowcharts, data models, and business process diagrams.
- Strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure, including APIs, middleware, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
- Proven track record in Agile (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under high-pressure project timelines.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
