About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Annuity and Life Insurance domain knowledge to join our team in the USA. This role is crucial for analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess 8 to 14 years of experience and a deep understanding of US-based annuity and life insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze life insurance processes and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses and impact assessments to identify areas for improvement and support effective solution design.
- Participate actively in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing support and guidance.
- Develop and implement policies to ensure efficient and effective management of life insurance and annuity products.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve claims in a timely and fair manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work with agents to establish compensation structures that incentivize sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Partner with clients on various consulting projects, offering expertise and guidance on life insurance administration.
- Define and prioritize requirements for application enhancements to improve the overall user experience and operational efficiency.
- Explore and recommend opportunities for automation to streamline processes and increase overall efficiency.
- Provide training and mentoring to less experienced team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
- Work with automation frameworks and reporting tools to enhance data analysis and decision-making.
- Write, execute, monitor, and maintain automated test suites to ensure software quality.
- Utilize knowledge of CI/CD tools and Agile processes to support efficient development and deployment cycles.
- Work with databases such as MySQL and Oracle.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exhibit strong programming skills relevant to business analysis and system integration.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8 to 14 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Extensive domain knowledge in Life Insurance and Annuities, specifically US-based Annuity domain knowledge.
- Experience with functional testing and functional test design.
- Familiarity with policy administration, claims handling, and agent compensation processes within the insurance industry.
- Experience in defining requirements for application enhancements and exploring automation opportunities.
- Proficiency in working with automation frameworks and reporting tools.
- Experience in writing, executing, monitoring, and maintaining automated test suites.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with databases like MySQL and Oracle.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
Special Requirements
Annuity and Life Insurance domain knowledge required. US based ANNUITY domain knowledge essential.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
