Job Title: Business Analyst with Security Lending Domain
We are looking for a Techno-functional Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Security Lending domain to join our team. The role requires a strong understanding of Custody Services, including Trade and Settlement, Corporate Action Processing, Fees, and Payments. The ideal candidate will be adept at defining requirements, analyzing issues, proposing IT solutions, and coordinating with offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and define business requirements and project scope for financial services applications.
- Develop functional knowledge of Security Lending, Custody Services, Trade and Settlement, and Corporate Action Processing.
- Identify key issues, review existing processes, and generate potential IT solutions.
- Present final recommendations and solutions to stakeholders.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis and to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, ensuring effective coordination.
- Possess strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Maintain high-quality documentation of business processes and requirements.
- Experience in systems analysis and software development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- In-depth functional knowledge of Security Lending and Custody Services.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
- Experience with Trade and Settlement, and Corporate Action Processing.
- Familiarity with Fees and Payments processes within custody services.
- Experience in systems analysis and software development.
- Excellent soft skills, including communication, negotiation, and presentation.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Prior experience in any programming language is preferred.
