Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with Texas Medicaid experience for a major system modernization project to build a new Medicaid application for the State of Texas. The role involves providing project and product oversight for Medicaid IT-contracted systems, supporting documentation, system enhancements, and ensuring alignment with agency standards for integrated solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors to complete projects and service requests.
- Develop and review project artifacts (test cases, requirements documentation, traceability, technical specifications).
- Analyze systems, troubleshoot issues, and support solution implementations.
- Manage project scope, acceptance, deployment, system integration, and UAT.
- Identify risks and design mitigation strategies.
- Analyze HHS policies, procedures, and standards and their impact on automated systems.
- Experience using TFS for requirements management.
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments.
- Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, and Copilot.
- Knowledge of enterprise systems architecture, integrations, and Azure cloud solutions.
- Experience with Texas HHSC processes and Texas Medicaid / CHIP systems.
- Experience managing state-level major information resource project data.
Skills & Qualifications:

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
