Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst specializing in Developer Portals and API documentation to join our dynamic team in Cleveland, OH. This role is critical in bridging the gap between technical engineering teams and external developer communities. As the primary liaison, you will be responsible for defining the requirements that drive our secure portal infrastructure, ensuring that our API ecosystem is not only functional but also intuitive and highly accessible for third-party integrators and internal stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business and technical analysis to support the development of robust developer documentation, streamlined API publishing workflows, and effective sandboxing environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee the structural enhancement of the developer portal, focusing on seamless onboarding experiences and intuitive navigation.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure sandbox environments accurately simulate production scenarios, meeting the rigorous testing requirements of our partners.
- Develop and maintain high-quality API usage guides, detailed authentication flow diagrams, and integration best practices to reduce time-to-first-call (TTFC).
- Lead stakeholder workshops and feedback sessions to identify pain points in the developer journey and drive iterative improvements to the portal interface.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to developer satisfaction, integration success rates, and portal engagement to inform the strategic roadmap.
- Integrate Agile methodologies into daily workflows, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined in user stories and that sprint goals align with long-term business objectives.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 6 to 10 years of experience in business analysis with a specific focus on digital platforms. Expertise in the Drupal framework or similar content management systems is essential for managing portal content and structure. Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (API) and the technical documentation required to support them. Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration is a significant advantage, as we look to leverage AI for enhanced searchability and automated support within our portal. Strong proficiency in Agile ways of working, collaboration tools, and user experience (UX) principles is required to succeed in this fast-paced environment. Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $155,000 per year
