About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a Finance Background for an onsite position at our client’s location in Chicago, IL. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between finance and business operations, focusing on financial systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems, financial data analysis, and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business requirements for financial systems and processes.
- Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Experience in Oracle ERP or any other ERP is preferred.
- Experience working with finance and business with Chart of Accounts related changes.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.
- Assist in the implementation and rollout of new financial systems or modules.
- Comfortable using Excel to compare large sets of financial data.
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong emphasis on finance.
- Mandatory: Financial Background.
- Experience in Oracle ERP or any other ERP is preferred.
- Experience working with finance and business with Chart of Accounts related changes.
- Good Communication skills.
- Comfortable using Excel to compare large sets of financial data.
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field will be preferred.
