Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Quality Assurance experience to support an enterprise-level client engagement in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in business analysis, software testing, and QA processes, along with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and Agile environments. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional who can effectively collaborate with stakeholders, manage requirements, and ensure quality delivery across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Manage backlog, user stories, sprint tracking, and defects using Azure DevOps
- Lead and support QA activities, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure project success
- Ensure adherence to SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Communicate effectively with business users and executive stakeholders
- Support release management and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst on enterprise projects
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Strong experience in Software Testing, QA processes, and UAT coordination
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise-scale or multi-team Agile environments
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, data integration, and system architecture
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and release management
Special Requirements
Visa: Open GC, GC EAD, H4 EAD, USC. Candidate must be local (within 90 minutes of Lansing, MI) – No relocation allowed. In-person interview (1st round) is mandatory. Must work EST business hours. Must provide MI Drivers License as proof of residency.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
