Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the payment domain to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a leading organization. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, particularly within the BFS/Risk domain. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiently use SQL queries to generate and analyze reports, providing insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work effectively in an Agile environment, participating in scrum calls, managing story boards, and writing user stories.
- Facilitate clear and concise communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables through thorough analysis and validation.
- Contribute to the overall success of projects by ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support the testing phases by providing clarification on requirements and validating test cases.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and user guides.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues related to business analysis.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the payment industry landscape and emerging trends.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and best practices.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
- Provide support for post-implementation activities and user acceptance testing.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques.
- Foster strong working relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on the payment domain.
- Extensive experience in the BFS/Risk domain is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and complete BRDs and SOPs.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60,000 – $120,000 per year
