Position: Business/Data Analyst
Location: Miami, FL – Onsite 2-3 days a week
Duration: 8-12 Month Contract to Hire
Rate: $45/hr MAX on C2C
Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Business and Data Analyst that also has Scrum/Agile experience. This person will be working closely with a Data team based in Seattle and will wear many hats.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- POC for business when they have requirements needed from the database side and explain them to the business.
- Understand how to gather data requirements, map out the requirements from the database.
- Proficient SQL, Excel, Data Mapping and analysis skills.
- Understand the different integration points (APIs) for the transformation, more so for when it comes to mapping.
- Looking for not only the technical components but also the functional front end – writing user stories, BRD, requirements docs etc – this person will need to effectively communicate with IT and Business Stakeholders.
- May play the SM and may PM at times (needs great comm skills).
MUST HAVES:
Advanced SQL:
- Data extraction, querying, and validation.
Excel:
- Strong analytical skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
Understand APIs, JSON & XML files data mapping:
- Basic understanding of API integrations, JSON/XML data formats, and source-to-target data mapping.
Data Analysis:
- Ability to analyze datasets and validate data.
Business Analysis:
- Requirement gathering and documentation (BRD/functional specs).
Agile/Scrum:
- Experience working in Agile environments and supporting project coordination.
Special Requirements
