Position Summary:
The Business Objects Security Programmer Analyst will be responsible for security administration, Business Objects reporting support, universe maintenance, SQL scripting, batch automation, DevOps, data operations support, and Power Platform application maintenance. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Administration:
- Manage access requests (add/update/remove).
- Monitor security mailboxes.
- Track, audit, and automate security forms.
- Administer security for BO, Oracle MIDB, and CMOD.
Business Objects Support:
- Troubleshoot report issues.
- Maintain IDT universes.
- Perform BO health checks.
- Manage report cleanup and optimization.
Data Operations & DevOps:
- Validate HR data loads.
- Maintain SQL & batch scripts.
- Support deployments and automation.
Power Platform:
- Maintain Power BI dashboards, PowerApps, and workflows.
- Enhance automation and integrations within the Power Platform.
Documentation & Process Management:
- Maintain system documentation.
- Track tasks via Master Calendar.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Provide backup support for .NET applications.
- Assist with Power Platform solutions.
Required Skills:
- Business Objects (Security, Universe Design)
- Strong SQL and batch scripting
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate)
- DevOps fundamentals
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle MIDB, CMOD
- Government or regulatory experience
- Basic .NET knowledge
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid (Onsite from Day 1)
- Mandatory onsite days: Wednesday & Thursday
- Local candidates within 1 hour of Lansing, MI preferred.
- Non-local candidates must relocate at their own expense.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60,000 – $110,000 per year (Estimated)
