Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis to create detailed functional and technical specifications.
- System Design & Improvement: Review and analyze current systems to recommend enhancements that increase efficiency, such as automating manual processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, functional specs, process flow diagrams, and Visio diagrams.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Partner with QA teams to develop test plans, create test cases, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure fixes are implemented.
- Project Management: Support the development lifecycle, manage change requests, and act as a scrum master or team lead to meet project milestones.
- Collaboration & Support: Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, IT) to resolve technical issues and support production systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 36+ years of experience in systems analysis, IT project management, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (queries, subqueries, joins), Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Methodologies: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
