Job Title: Business System Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Business System Analyst with 9+ years of experience to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of system analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement.
Location:
Middletown, NJ, USA. This is a Day 1 Onsite position, and local candidates are preferred.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Elicit detailed requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis. Create comprehensive functional and technical specifications.
- System Design & Improvement: Analyze current systems to identify opportunities for enhancement and recommend solutions that increase efficiency, including the automation of manual processes.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain critical project documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and Visio diagrams.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with QA teams to develop test plans, create detailed test cases, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure timely and accurate implementation of fixes.
- Project Management Support: Support the entire development lifecycle, manage change requests effectively, and potentially act as a scrum master or team lead to ensure project milestones are met.
- Collaboration & Support: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and IT, to resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support for production systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Business System Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
- Strong understanding of system design principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating BRDs, user stories, functional specs, and process flow diagrams (Visio).
- Experience with testing methodologies, including UAT and test case development.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be local to the Middletown, NJ area.
- Eligible visa types include H1, H4, USC, TN, and L2.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year
