About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team for a long-term contract role. This position is fully remote and requires a candidate with extensive experience in systems analysis, requirements documentation, and acceptance testing. You will play a key role in analyzing business needs, designing solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of various systems within the USPS organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Analysis & Requirements: Perform detailed systems analysis, develop comprehensive requirements documentation, and create/conduct customer acceptance tests for numerous system components and interfaces.
  • Business Needs Gathering: Gather business needs from stakeholders across the USPS organization and translate them into clear, actionable requirements documentation.
  • Test Data Development: Create and manage test data for various systems including Retail and Commercial Mailer systems, PTR, Extra Services, Mailing Services, Confirm Services, Ground Shipping, Expedited Services, Scanners, Global Business, Business Mail Entry and Payment Technology, Operations and Engineering, Web applications (Click-N-Ship), Call Center/IVR, EDW and PTR Reports, and Same Day/Delivery Day Specific Products.
  • Solution Design: Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective solutions.
  • Testing Execution: Conduct customer acceptance tests using various tools and systems such as Intelligent Mail Device (IMD) scanners, Commercial Mailer Electronic Files, Intranet & Internet tracking screens, Product Tracking and Reporting (PTR) web applications, Program Registration system, Electronic Marketing Reporting System (EMRS), Expedited Service Specialist (ESS), Call Center Agent screens/IVR system, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), PostalOne!, POS ONE, and APCs.
  • Documentation: Produce detailed test result documentation, develop status reports and test schedules, and maintain documentation for Confirmation and Extra Services products.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current PTR processes and recommend improvements.
  • Consulting Activities: Act as a technical liaison between business and IT teams, provide subject matter expertise (SME), and deliver advisory services to management.
  • Database & Data Modeling: Participate in database design and data modeling activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 13+ years of experience in technology or software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to work independently across functional duties.
  • Experience with systems analysis, requirements gathering, and UAT.
  • Familiarity with USPS systems and processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Special Requirements

Remote role. Long-Term Contract-C2C. $50/hr on C2C.

Salary: $50 – $50 per year
