Position Summary

Cambay Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a high-priority program in Minneapolis, MN. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and IT organizations, specifically supporting a strategic partnership between Ameriprise and Huntington Bank. The primary focus of this engagement is to enhance Ameriprise tools and execute a complex system conversion to migrate clients from a legacy broker system to the Ameriprise platform.

Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate interactive discussions with business units and technology teams to align on project objectives and requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and user-level requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including the creation of test plans, scripts, and conditions.
  • Manage the end-to-end system conversion process, including data file validation, loading into account systems, and production check-outs.
  • Identify, log, and report technical issues to the appropriate teams, driving resolution to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Maintain the change control and traceability processes for all requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure that business requirements are technically feasible and aligned with system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation, user manuals, and operational support guides.
  • Communicate risks, issues, and project status updates to senior leadership and project managers.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in Financial Services, specifically within brokerage or wealth management domains.
  • Proven expertise in system conversions and data migration projects.
  • Strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and UAT execution.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking and issue management.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence decision-making at various levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tools such as Visio, Provision, DOORS, or HP Quality Center.
  • Prior experience managing system conversions for major financial institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring four days onsite in Minneapolis, MN, with one day of remote work. Candidates must be local to the Minneapolis area. The role offers a dynamic environment where you will be at the forefront of a major financial integration project, requiring high attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities under tight deadlines.

Interview Mode: Phone and Video. MUST BE LOCAL ONLY. Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Financial services domain restriction.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $95,000 – $135,000 per year

Location: Minneapolis, MN
