Position Summary
Crea Services LLC is looking for a talented C# / C++ Developer to join our team for a critical project involving the migration of legacy VBA applications to a modern C# architecture. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys the challenge of reverse-engineering legacy code and rebuilding it using modern software engineering principles. You will work closely with our direct customer to ensure a seamless transition of business logic from Excel-based VBA tools to robust, scalable C# applications.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze and document existing legacy VBA applications to understand business logic and data flows.
- Design and develop high-performance applications using C# and C++.
- Lead the migration effort from VBA to C#, ensuring feature parity and improved performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software reliability.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Provide technical documentation for newly developed systems.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET framework.
- Proficiency in C++ development, particularly in performance-critical environments.
- Direct experience in migrating legacy VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code to C#.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $65 per year
