Role Overview

GVR InfoTek LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certification Analyst specializing in EMV and Host systems within the Payments Domain. This onsite position in Atlanta, GA, is a critical role for professionals who possess a deep understanding of card payment testing and certification processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our payment solutions comply with the latest industry standards and successfully pass certifications with various acquirers, processors, and regulatory bodies. As a Certification Analyst, you will bridge the gap between technical development and regulatory compliance, ensuring that every transaction processed through our systems is secure, efficient, and fully compliant with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-faceted certification projects from end-to-end, including scope definition, test planning, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Lead and execute EMV L3 Card Brand Certifications with various processors and acquirers to ensure seamless transaction processing.
  • Execute Fleet Card Certifications, coordinating with processors and card brands to meet specific industry requirements.
  • Lead Host Message Specification Certifications, ensuring that various processors and acquirers are aligned with host system protocols.
  • Review and prepare comprehensive certification results, including test cases, logs, evidence, and summary reports for stakeholder review.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during test execution and coordinate defect triage with engineering and vendor teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payment industry standards such as EMVCo, PCI, and ISO8583.
  • For senior candidates: Lead cross-functional certification teams and provide mentorship to junior analysts.
  • Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Compliance, and Partner teams to ensure prompt readiness for certification cycles.
  • Influence process improvements and certification strategy to streamline future project lifecycles.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Card Payment Certifications.
  • Proficiency with EMV Certification tools such as FIME BTT, ICCSimTMat, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the EMV L3 / End-to-End Certification Process.
  • Deep knowledge of payment transaction flows, ISO8583 messages, and EMV technical analysis.
  • Experience with payment terminal platforms (POS) and various card schemes.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work with external stakeholders.
  • Self-driven with strong project ownership and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • CSCIP/P Certification or ETA CPP Certification is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to PCI standards (PCI-DSS, PCI-PTS) is a significant plus.
  • Prior experience in global certification environments.

Compensation & Location

Salary Range: $115,000 – $155,000 per YEAR

Location: Atlanta, GA

Experience Required: 3 – 5 years work experience in Card Payment Certifications.
