Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Lead to join our team. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing our cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-cloud architectures, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices. This is an onsite position requiring local candidates from California.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain hybrid cloud architectures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Oversee cloud migration strategies and execution.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments according to industry standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR).
- Manage networking, storage, virtualization, and compute resources within the cloud.
- Implement and promote DevOps and Agile practices within the infrastructure team.
- Provide scripting support (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation tasks.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud preferred).
- Deep knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, and compute.
- Experience with cloud migration and hybrid architectures.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile practices.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR).
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads.
- Experience with edge computing or hyperconverged infrastructure.
