Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cloud Security Pattern Engineer to develop structured threat models for cloud services. This role involves translating threat modeling outputs into reusable security patterns that align with established enterprise standards and embedding them into the organization’s threat modeling and certification platforms. The position is crucial for strengthening the consistency and scalability of cloud security evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structured threat models for cloud services and distributed systems.
- Perform security design reviews and identify architectural weaknesses in cloud environments.
- Translate threat modeling findings into actionable preventative, detective, and corrective controls.
- Develop reusable security patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
- Embed security patterns into the organization’s threat modeling and certification platforms.
- Enhance the consistency and scalability of cloud security evaluations.
Required Skills:
- Practical experience conducting threat modeling for cloud or distributed systems.
- Experience performing security design reviews and identifying architectural weaknesses.
- Ability to translate threat findings into preventative, detective, and corrective controls.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architectures in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with common threat and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS, CAPEC, CWE).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with threat modeling for cloud or distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud security architectures in at least one major cloud provider.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $75 per year (Estimated)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
