Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cobol Developer with extensive banking and finance experience for a remote, long-term opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in COBOL and UNIX, along with specialized knowledge in payments and banking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Work with banking and finance-specific technologies such as ACI MTS, ACI UPF, FedNow, Fedwire, Fiserv EPP, ISO 20022, RTP, Swift Alliance Access (SAA), Swift MT/MX, and Swift yearly standards upgrade.
- Understand and implement solutions related to Wire Transfers.
