Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Content Management Developer to build and support content-driven websites and applications utilizing Java and Apache Sling. This role is focused on developing robust backend logic and essential CMS components that efficiently manage and deliver content. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content-based applications and experience with REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new CMS features and functionalities using Java and Apache Sling.
- Build, maintain, and optimize content components and templates for various platforms.
- Create and manage APIs to deliver content effectively to web and mobile channels.
- Work with content repositories, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval.
- Support integrations with digital asset management (DAM) systems and other relevant applications.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within content applications, focusing on performance improvements.
- Collaborate with design and frontend teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in content management and Java development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven Java development experience.
- Solid knowledge of Apache Sling framework.
- Understanding of content-based applications and their architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and working with JSON data formats.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience working with content repositories.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) or headless CMS solutions.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
