Position Overview: Core Java Development in Pittsburgh
Teamware Solutions is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Core Java Developer for a critical, long-term project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is strictly 100% onsite from day one, catering to a client environment that values high-security, high-touch collaboration and immediate integration into the local development team. As a Core Java specialist, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications that serve as the backbone of our client’s operations.
Key Technical Responsibilities
- Core Java Mastery: Utilize deep knowledge of Java fundamentals, including multi-threading, collections, and memory management, to build robust and efficient software solutions.
- GUI and Rich Client Development: Design and implement sophisticated graphical user interfaces and rich client applications, ensuring a high-quality user experience and seamless interaction patterns.
- Build and Deployment: Take ownership of the Java build and deployment lifecycle. This includes managing build tools like Maven or Gradle and ensuring smooth transitions through CI/CD pipelines into production environments.
- System Optimization: Analyze existing codebases to identify bottlenecks and implement performance tuning measures to ensure the scalability of critical systems.
- Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with onsite stakeholders, including project managers and system architects, to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $118,000 – $162,000 per year (Estimated)
