Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Cosmos DB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL to join our client’s dynamic team. This role operates under a hybrid work model and is essential for managing and optimizing critical database systems, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining peak performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize database systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Ensure seamless integration of database systems with other applications and platforms.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Perform regular database maintenance, including backups, recovery, and patching.
- Implement and manage database security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database schemas.
- Provide technical expertise and support for database technologies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database administration.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of database infrastructure.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all database environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- PostgreSQL DB Administration: Extensive experience in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
- MongoDB Administration: Proven expertise in administering MongoDB environments.
- Azure Cosmos DB: Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including its various APIs and configurations.
- Years of Experience: A minimum of 11 years of relevant experience in database administration.
