Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CPQ Functional Analyst to join our team on a contract basis to design, implement, and optimize our Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in CPQ processes, hands-on experience integrating CPQ with SAP, and familiarity with Revalize FPX (formerly FPX). Experience in the HVAC industry or other engineered-to-order environments is highly desirable.
This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and solution architects to enhance quoting workflows, configuration logic, pricing models, and approval processes, driving operational excellence and a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
CPQ System Functional Ownership
- Serve as the CPQ subject matter expert supporting enhancements, change requests, and system improvements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and configuration specifications.
- Optimize product configuration rules, pricing structures, and quoting workflows to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Integration & Technical Collaboration
- Partner with technical teams to enhance CPQ SAP integrations, ensuring synchronization of master data, pricing, and order management workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot integration issues and maintain end-to-end data flow.
- Leverage experience with SAP C4C and SAP PI/PO integrations (strong plus).
Revalize FPX & Toolset Expertise (Preferred)
- Configure and maintain FPX system components, including product models, pricing logic, rules, approval matrices, and UI layouts.
- Utilize key Revalize toolsets:
- DDF (Dynamic Data Framework): Manage dynamic data structures for product configuration and pricing.
- PDM (Product Data Management): Maintain accurate product data and attributes throughout the CPQ lifecycle.
- Workflow & Approval Management: Configure approval processes and business rules.
- Support FPX upgrades, releases, and feature rollouts.
Business Engagement
- Act as a liaison between business units, engineering, sales, and IT teams.
- Lead workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and process optimization discussions.
- Develop user stories, process documentation, and provide training and support to end users.
Quality Assurance & Support
- Conduct functional and regression testing of CPQ updates and enhancements.
- Support production issues, triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure all CPQ solutions adhere to compliance, data integrity, and security standards.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of functional experience with CPQ platforms.
- Strong understanding of CPQ business processes (configuration, pricing, quoting, discounting, and approvals).
- Proven experience integrating CPQ systems with SAP (preferably SD, MM, or Variant Configuration modules).
- Skilled in writing functional specifications, test scripts, and process documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Revalize FPX CPQ platform.
- Background in HVAC, industrial equipment, or engineered-to-order manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of product configuration models, BOM structures, or engineering rules.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Experience with SAP C4C and SAP PI/PO integrations.

Special Requirements
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders. Need Local to TX. Must be local to Dallas, TX area. Communication: Must be excellent.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $75 per year (Estimated)
Location: Richardson, TX
