Role Overview
Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Lead for a critical 12-month engagement in Miami Lakes, FL. This leadership position is centered on the development and execution of a comprehensive, organization-wide cybersecurity Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the enterprise against evolving threats such as ransomware, sophisticated data breaches, and advanced persistent threats (APTs). This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technical security controls and business continuity objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development, maintenance, and execution of an organization-wide cybersecurity Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy.
- Validate Cordiss readiness and resilience to respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents during DR scenarios through tabletop exercises and simulations.
- Oversee the secure restoration of critical systems, applications, and data, ensuring the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- Assess and continuously improve incident response and cyber recovery capabilities to align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Identify gaps and weaknesses across incident response, recovery processes, tooling, and governance, tracking remediation to closure.
- Partner with IT, business, legal, and risk management teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient response and recovery execution.
- Deliver comprehensive post-exercise and post-incident reports, including risk ratings and prioritized improvement recommendations.
- Drive the adoption of cybersecurity DR best practices, frameworks, and metrics to enhance organizational cyber resilience and maturity.
Technical Requirements and Skills
- Extensive experience in JD For Cyber security lead roles focusing on organization-wide DR strategy.
- Proven track record in managing cybersecurity threats including ransomware and large-scale data breaches.
- Deep understanding of the Cordiss environment or similar enterprise-grade preparedness frameworks.
- Expertise in secure restoration protocols for critical systems and data integrity validation.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying process gaps in incident response and recovery.
- Ability to translate technical findings into actionable business improvements and post-exercise recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management across legal, risk, and IT departments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
