Job Description: D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to join our team. This is an onsite position located in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance, with a focus on billing and revenue management, including subscription billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance, focusing on billing and revenue management processes.
- Implement and configure subscription billing solutions within D365 F&O.
- Work closely with CFO and senior finance stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
- Ensure a strong understanding of invoicing and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Apply knowledge of relevant accounting standards (AASB15, ASC606) to service contracts with both time components and performance obligations.
- Develop and maintain strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Take ownership and lead the billing function within the organization.
- Leverage US market experience to provide relevant insights and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to D365 F&O Finance modules.
- Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities of Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Prepare and deliver training to end-users and support staff.
- Document system configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Participate in project planning, execution, and deployment phases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance.
- Demonstrated experience in billing and revenue management, including subscription billing.
- Experience working closely with CFO and senior finance stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of invoicing and AR processes.
- Familiarity with AASB15 and ASC606 accounting standards and their application to service contracts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage the billing function independently.
- Experience in the US market is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications are a plus.
