Job Opportunity: D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant

We are looking for a skilled D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to join one of our client’s teams. This role requires a strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, particularly in billing and revenue management, and subscription billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with CFO and senior finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system configurations and solutions.
  • Manage and lead the billing function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant accounting standards (AASB15 & ASC606) to service contracts, including those with time components and performance obligations.
  • Configure and implement D365 F&O Finance modules to support billing and revenue recognition processes.
  • Provide expertise on invoicing and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with US market practices and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
  • Own and lead the billing function, driving improvements and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance.
  • Experience with Billing and Revenue Management, including Subscription Billing.
  • Proven experience working with CFO and senior finance stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of invoicing and AR processes.
  • Familiarity with accounting standards AASB15 & ASC606 and their application to service contracts.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to own and lead the billing function.
  • Experience in the US market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other ERP systems.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
