Role Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support day-to-day (BAU) analytics and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building reports, performing data analysis, and ensuring high data quality across systems. This role requires strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and AWS, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business operations and decision-making
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, insights, and anomalies
- Ensure data quality by performing validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes
- Support day-to-day BAU activities including report generation and data troubleshooting
- Work with large datasets using SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, EC2) for data storage and processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Maintain documentation for reports, data processes, and workflows
Required Skills
- Strong experience with SQL for querying and data manipulation
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and automation
- Experience working in AWS environment (S3, Redshift, EC2)
- Experience in report building and analytics
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and cleansing techniques
- Must have worked for Capital One in the past.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $40 – $60 per year (Estimated)
