Role Overview:

We are seeking a Data Analyst / Business Analyst with strong SQL, Excel, and data analysis skills to support data-driven projects within the finance domain. The role involves working with APIs, JSON data, data mapping, and documentation, while collaborating closely with both business and technical teams. This is a local, Day 1 onsite position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data extraction, querying, and validation using SQL.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for strong analytical tasks, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions.
  • Gain a basic understanding of API integrations, JSON/XML data formats, and source-to-target data mapping.
  • Analyze datasets and validate data integrity.
  • Gather requirements and create documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
  • Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment and support project coordination.

Required Skills:

  • SQL: Proficient in data extraction, querying, and validation.
  • Excel: Strong analytical skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
  • APIs, JSON & XML files data mapping: Basic understanding of API integrations, JSON/XML data formats, and source-to-target data mapping.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze datasets and validate data.
  • Business Analysis: Experience in requirement gathering and documentation (BRD/functional specs).
  • Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile environments and supporting project coordination.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Data Analyst or Financial Analyst roles.
  • Exposure to data engineering or data integration projects.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
