Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect to join our Enterprise Technology & Portfolio Enablement team. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, offering a hybrid work model with 2 days onsite required in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data governance, and enterprise data management, with extensive experience supporting large-scale data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategy.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing, analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Oversee the integration of various data sources, including on-premise and cloud-based systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and other technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance data management capabilities.
- Support the migration and management of data in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data lake architectures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 14+ years of experience in data architecture, data governance, or enterprise data management.
- Proven experience supporting large-scale data initiatives such as data warehousing, analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting.
- Hands-on experience with cloud and on-prem data technologies including Azure, AWS, GCP, SQL, NoSQL, ETL, and data lakes.
- Familiarity with regulatory and data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
