Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in AI/ML to join our remote team. This role is crucial for building and optimizing data pipelines and systems that support our machine learning initiatives. You will work with cutting-edge technologies on cloud platforms to drive data-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing systems.
  • Develop and manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Implement and optimize data models for AI/ML applications.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy and monitor machine learning models.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for analytical and operational use.
  • Utilize big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop for large-scale data processing.
  • Implement and manage workflow orchestration using tools like Airflow.
  • Work with streaming data technologies like Kafka.
  • Integrate data pipelines with CI/CD processes and use version control (Git) for code management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, infrastructure, and ML systems.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, AI, and ML.

Required Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, and Kafka.
  • Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Expertise in building robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing systems.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of model deployment and monitoring techniques in an MLOps context.
  • Understanding of data drift, model drift, and pipeline optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote team environment.

Job Details:

  • Employment Type: Contract (C2C)
  • Rate: $45/hr on C2C
  • Location: Remote
