Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in DBT, Snowflake, PySpark, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Python. This is a 12+ month contract position located in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have 11+ years of experience and a strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using DBT, Snowflake, and PySpark.
  • Develop and deploy ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue and Lambda.
  • Write efficient and maintainable Python code for data processing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
  • Optimize data infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 11+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Expertise in DBT.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake.
  • Strong experience with PySpark.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda.
  • Advanced Python programming skills.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
