Role:

DATA ENGINEER (Need 12 plus experience)

Location:

Rosemead, CA (ONSITE)

Duration:

6 months

Required Skills:

  • Python, PySpark, and SQL, Strong data engineering background (ETL / ELT concepts), Foundry certifications
  • 5-10 years overall, with strong Palantir Foundry experience
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Code Workbooks).
  • Build and manage Palantir Ontologies (Object Types, Link Types, Properties) to enable semantic and business-friendly data access.
  • Ingest, transform, validate, and enrich data from multiple enterprise and external sources.
  • Implement scalable data transformations using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, reliability, and performance across pipelines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and platform teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Support analytics, operational dashboards, and downstream AIML use cases.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Foundry assets and pipelines.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Palantir AIP and AIML-enabled use cases.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript JavaScript for Foundry applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Palantir Foundry certification.
  • Prior experience in utilities, energy, public sector, or large regulated enterprises.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • 5 years of experience in data engineering or data-intensive application development.
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including ontology modeling and pipeline development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python with solid experience in SQL and PySpark.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETLELT concepts, and data governance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
