Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in X12 and EDI data parsing, SQL, and managing large workloads. This is a fully remote position, requiring a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, PySpark, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for processing X12 and EDI files.
- Perform advanced SQL querying and optimization to manage large datasets and workloads.
- Utilize PySpark for data transformation and processing.
- Implement and manage data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Work with Databricks for big data analytics and processing.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across all data systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Optimize data processing jobs for performance and scalability.
- Document data processes, schemas, and architecture.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including advanced querying and performance tuning.
- Proven experience with X12 data parsing and EDI standards.
- Proficiency in PySpark for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience with Databricks for big data processing.
- Ability to manage large workloads and complex data integration projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
