Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in the USA. Role Description and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines.
- Implement data warehousing solutions and optimize data models.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide solutions.
- Develop and deploy ETL/ELT processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in data engineering.
- Work with various data sources and formats.
- Optimize query performance and data processing efficiency.
Required Skills and Technologies:
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
- Understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
