Role Summary
Source InfoTech is seeking a highly specialized Data Engineer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This specific requirement is exclusively open to former CVS Health candidates who possess a deep understanding of the healthcare data landscape and internal CVS systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power critical analytics and machine learning initiatives. This role demands a high level of technical proficiency in GCP services and a proven ability to handle large-scale, complex datasets within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using the full suite of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Build and optimize complex data processing workflows utilizing Google Cloud Dataflow, Google BigQuery, and Cloud Composer (Airflow).
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes leveraging Cloud Dataproc, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage for efficient data movement.
- Implement comprehensive data ingestion solutions from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
- Design and maintain sophisticated data models and data warehouse schemas within BigQuery to support business intelligence.
- Optimize query performance through advanced partitioning, clustering strategies, and cost-effective resource management.
- Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and governance through automated monitoring and validation tools.
- Collaborate with data scientists and application teams to provide the necessary data infrastructure for ML models and advanced analytics.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows to ensure seamless deployment and version control.
- Configure and manage IAM roles and security settings within GCP to maintain a secure data environment.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Must be a former CVS Health employee or contractor with verifiable experience and genuine references.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering and automation tasks.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies in a cloud-native environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to ensure high availability of critical data systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.

Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
