Position Summary

Dynasticx LLC is looking for talented Data Engineers (DE) to join our healthcare-focused data team. This is a remote, W2-only contract position. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and modifying critical regulatory reports, building complex data logic, and ensuring the accuracy of data outputs through rigorous testing and validation. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions using modern data stack technologies like Snowflake and Python.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain regulatory reports for the healthcare industry.
  • Build and implement data logic to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Perform comprehensive testing and validation of data outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for data pipelines and reporting processes.
  • Support deployment activities and ensure smooth integration of data solutions into production environments.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and regulatory experts to solicit and document report requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.

Technical Skill Set

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and analysis.
  • Intermediate experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Python, with a strong emphasis on Pandas and data frame operations.
  • Proven experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
  • Experience with IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) or MicroStrategy is a significant plus for specific roles.

Data Governance and Security in Healthcare

Working with healthcare data requires a profound commitment to data governance and security. You will be responsible for ensuring that all data pipelines and reports comply with HIPAA and other relevant regulations. This involves implementing robust data masking, encryption, and access control measures. Your role is not just about moving data; it’s about protecting the privacy and integrity of sensitive patient information. We expect our Data Engineers to be champions of data ethics and to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.

Snowflake and Python Optimization

In this role, you will leverage the power of Snowflake to build scalable and performant data warehouses. You should be adept at using Snowflake-specific features like Snowpipe, Tasks, and Streams to automate data ingestion and transformation. Furthermore, your Python skills will be put to the test as you build complex data processing scripts using Pandas and other data science libraries. We are looking for engineers who can write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that can handle large volumes of healthcare data without compromising on speed.

The Impact of Regulatory Reporting

Regulatory reporting is the backbone of the healthcare industry, ensuring that organizations remain compliant with state and federal laws. Your work on these reports will provide the necessary transparency for regulators and help our clients avoid costly penalties. By building accurate and timely reports, you enable healthcare providers to focus on what they do best: caring for patients. This role offers the unique opportunity to combine technical excellence with a meaningful mission, making a tangible difference in the healthcare ecosystem.

Domain Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare domain, specifically regarding claims, authorizations, and provider data.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory reporting requirements and compliance standards.
  • Ability to handle sensitive healthcare data (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Special Requirements

W2 only. Knowledge of healthcare domain data (e.g., claims, authorizations, provider data) required. One or two DEs may require IDMC and/or MicroStrategy experience.
