Job Summary
Biztegy Analytics Inc is seeking a Data Scientist with strong ArcGIS skills for a hybrid role in Houston, TX. This position requires local candidates and involves working with geospatial data and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply statistical and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex datasets.
- Utilize ArcGIS Pro toolkits (Spatial Analyst, Spatial Statistics, Network Analyst) for geospatial analysis.
- Develop and implement predictive models.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data management.
- Program in Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
- Create data visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Leverage cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure) for data processing and storage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with ArcGIS or other geospatial tools.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro toolkits, including Spatial Analyst, Spatial Statistics, and Network Analyst.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
- Proven experience applying statistical or machine learning algorithms, econometrics, and predictive modeling.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
