About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our team in Louisville, KY. This is an onsite contract position for approximately 6 months. You will be responsible for applying advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, contributing to decision analytics, and ensuring fairness and equity in our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct decision analytics and quantitative analysis to solve business problems.
- Develop and implement data science models using Python and statistical methods.
- Measure decision quality and analyze business outcomes.
- Perform fairness, bias, and equity monitoring on analytical models.
- Design and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of decisions and initiatives.
- Analyze user funnels and customer journeys to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain compliance reporting related to data science outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in decision analytics, data science, or quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience in measuring decision quality and business outcomes.
- Experience with fairness, bias, and equity monitoring in analytical models.
- Experience with experiment measurement and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with funnel analytics and impact attribution methodologies (e.g., STARS).
- Experience with compliance reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with advanced machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in the finance or insurance industry.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
