About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team. This role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models for prediction, classification, and clustering.
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Create compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
  • Evaluate and improve the performance of existing models.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
  • Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8 years of experience in data science or a related analytical role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling and experimental design.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
