Position Summary: Senior Data Scientist (GenAI & LLM)
Concept Software & Services Inc is looking for a visionary Senior Data Scientist with over 10 years of experience to lead the development of next-generation AI solutions. This onsite role in Morris Plains, NJ, focuses on architecting and implementing advanced AI systems utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), LangChain, and Python. You will be at the forefront of the Generative AI revolution, building and deploying LLM-powered copilots and sophisticated RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures within an AWS Cloud environment. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and hands-on coding capabilities.
Core Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Architect and implement end-to-end AI solutions using cutting-edge technologies including LLMs, LangChain, and advanced Machine Learning frameworks.
- Lead the development of AIML solutions in AWS using Python, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and fine-tune models to optimize performance for specific business use cases, including the creation of custom architectures when off-the-shelf solutions are insufficient.
- Innovate on traditional RAG approaches to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated outputs.
- Advise senior leadership and the broader data science team on the best approaches and architectures for complex ML use cases.
- Responsible for the full development lifecycle: from data pipeline creation using SQL and Snowflake to the deployment of containerized applications via DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) and GenAI to process and utilize text-based data sources effectively within the AI architecture.
- Ensure all AI systems are developed with ‘Responsible AI’ principles, focusing on ethics, transparency, and bias mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of AI components into existing enterprise systems.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL (specifically Snowflake and Oracle/PLSQL).
- Extensive experience with Generative AI frameworks such as LangChain and building LLM-powered applications.
- Strong background in AWS Cloud services for AI/ML (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
- Deep expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex AI projects from conception to production.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical execution and stakeholder requirements.
Special Requirements
Visa: H1B Only. Locals only (Morris Plains, NJ onsite). 12+ month contract duration.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $230,000 per year (Estimated)
